DIY eye & face makeup remover!

Good morning, everyone!

Today I want to share with you a DIY recipe for eye and face makeup remover that I have been using for the past year! I found this recipe online when searching for a natural, & gentle alternative to my everyday face and eye makeup remover. I tried it out, and fell in LOVE! It requires only 2 ingredients, but I like to throw in a third just to make it smell pretty. ;-)

Enjoy!

What you'll need:

  •  1 small travel container to hold your face & eye makeup remover mixture.

  • 1 container of extra virgin or regular olive oil, any size.

  • 1 container of witch hazel (you can find this in an aisle near beauty products or rubbing isopropyl alcohol in your nearest drug or grocery store :-) ).

  • A few drops of lavender essential oil (you can find lavender essential oil in the natural beauty products section under the brand "Weleda" at your local Target).

Directions:

1) Clean out your container with soap and water, making sure to rinse it thoroughly.

2) Pour 1 part olive oil, two parts witch hazel, and a few drops of lavender essential oil into your container, cap it, and shake vigorously.

3) Saturate a cotton swab or strong, absorbent, & gentle tissue with your mixture, press onto your makeup for 1 minute or so, and wipe off! :-)

Tips:

Regular cotton swabs or cotton pads work great with this for eye makeup removal!

Cotton pads, or strong, absorbent, and gentle tissue work excellent with this for face makeup!

Below is what your mixture should look like :-) :

Have a great day!
