Can I start by saying this lotion is SEXUAL?!

Ladies.....

I mean, I am the queen of lotion...but never in my eco beauty quests and adventures over the past 6 years have I stumbled across a lotion that was:
  • Light but intensely moisturizing
  • Glowy but not oily
  • Deliciously full-functioning in its duty yet still organic
  • Extremely economical for the quantity received
  • Naturally protective from the sun yet not a whitening mess
  • Almost completely environmentally friendly in its composition
  • and pH balanced to restore our acid mantle???

What can this lotion NOT do??

I had originally purchased this lotion on Vitacost.com  a few weeks ago in an attempt to replace my steadily depleting bottle of the infamously delicious Alba Botanica cocoa butter hand & body lotion with a natural and more budget friendly option. Boy am I glad that I did! Never did I think in a million years I could find a replacement for that buttery and delicious cocoa butter cream that would be just as luxurious, all-natural, and more affordable per ounce! I mean, let's be real here, most of us would rather invest in wealth that will last us a lifetime rather than blow it all on disposable goods such as lotion. But a girl's still got to keep her skin soft, right? Ladies, this lotion is your calling! It has a yummy light lemongrass scent, feels like a cross between a light oil and rich butter on the skin, will protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays, and is naturally soothing and healing. I would say that even if you already have 1,000 lotions in your bathroom pantry, if you could invest in one after-sun lotion that will make your skin feel AMAZING this summer- this is IT.

I will forever be a faithful user of this lotion for many reasons.

My top 10 would be:
  • It is easy to spread on the skin and very moisturizing
  • It is non-greasy
  • It has a light and natural sunscreen
  • It is an excellent pre and post self-tanner lotion
  • It leaves the skin very plump and hydrated
  • It does not rub off on or stain clothing
  • It is healing and soothing and hence, kind to sensitive skin :-)
  • There is a lot of product for the price
  • It smells delicious
  • & is au naturaleeee
 ;-)

This lotion retails on Vitacost.com for $4.79 for a 16 fl. oz. bottle.

My former lotion, Alba Botanica Cocoa Butter hand & body lotion, retails for around $12.11 for a 24 fl. oz. bottle. You do the math. ;-)

You can also purchase a 64 fl. oz. bottle of this stuff on Vitacost.com or Amazon for around $14 for a big container!

ENJOY! :-)
