Today I want to share with you a review of one of my favorite water bottles- the KOR Delta hydration vessel! For those of you who have never heard of KOR water bottles before- they are sleek, BPA-free, reusable water bottles that were designed and launched by an entrepreneur and businessman, Eric Barnes and Paul Shustak, in 2008. Inspired in part by our nation's environmentally conscious movement and a need to make water bottles "stylish", they set out to create healthy, re-usable water bottles that would help people like you and me use disposable, plastic water bottles less, and re-useable water bottles more! The water bottles they have designed come in 4 different variations: the One, Delta, Vida, and Aura hydration vessels, which are perfect to meet different everyday styles & hydration needs!
Mine is a 500 mL Delta in Orchid pink! :-)
For those of you who are not familiar with the BPA-free water bottle band wagon- BPA, otherwise known as Bisphenol A, is an organic compound commonly found in polycarbonate products (plastics) that the FDA found to be toxic to humans in 2010. BPA leaches into the contents of each container that it holds in minute amounts over a period of time, exerting weak, but detectable hormone-like properties into the liquid or food. This chemical then leaches into the blood streams of humans, and becomes harmful to our bodies over time (especially to pregnant women, fetuses, infants, and young children). This is the reason why we are advised against re-using disposable plastic water bottles.
I had purchased this water bottle 8 months ago to replace my former plastic water bottle obsession. I use the word obsession loosely, because I am still in denial. ;-) However, my family claims that I would go through 5+ bottles a day, and a 24 pack in 1 week just by myself. Yikes! This water bottle has helped me stay hydrated on-the-go, I have no more worries about bumping my teeth on stainless steel water bottles while I am driving, and I get to save the planet one sip and re-fill at a time. Win!

Tips:
I encourage you to try out the water bottle version that suits your needs the best, but in my opinion, the Delta is the best!
These are perfect for carrying around in your bag, or taking to the gym, & they are dishwasher safe! :-)
