Make your own whole fruit ice pop bars!

Good morning, everyone!

Today I want to share with you a versatile recipe that I have been making since I was a little girl! Have you ever made homemade popsicles with your family as a child?! Well if not, start doing it now- it is so much fun! I am going to share with you 7 of my favorite popsicle recipes to help you satisfy your cravings and sweet tooth for the Spring & Summer months. These are healthy, nutritious, and full of flavor!

Enjoy! :-)

What you'll need:

  • An ice pop mold tray (you can find these at your local grocery store, Target, or Walmart).

  • Fresh or frozen fruit (or fresh mint) for your recipe of choice.

  • Natural, 100% juice or creamy low-fat vanilla yogurt for your recipe of choice.

My top 7!:

1) Berry Blast Fruit Pop

Directions:

Cut up or crush fresh or frozen blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries and pour inside your popsicle molds with fresh pomegranate juice. I like to use Pom juice in the fresh juice section at my local grocery store, but feel free to substitute pomegranate juice with Naked Juice in the flavor Blue Machine or Pomegranate Acai, or Bolthouse Farms juice in Berry Boost or 50/50 Berry if you're not a big fan of pomegranate! :-)

2) Tropical Fruit bar

Directions:

Dice up mango chunks, slice up some kiwi, & strawberries and pour into your popsicle molds with pineapple juice, or Naked Juice in the flavor Mighty Mango!

3) Peaches and Cream Pop

Directions:

Cut up or crush fresh or frozen peaches and drop into your popsicle molds with lowfat vanilla yogurt! My favorite yogurt for this is Stoneyfield brand vanilla yogurt. :-) Feel free to also pour in your yogurt first, and add crushed peaches mixed in your juice of choice afterwards to get popsicles like the ones in the first photo!

4) Berries and Cream Pop

Directions:

Cut up or crush fresh or frozen blackberries and/or raspberries and drop into your popsicle molds with lowfat vanilla yogurt! My favorite yogurt for this is also Stoneyfield brand vanilla yogurt. :-)

5) Raspberry Citrus Fruit Pop

Directions:

Cut up or drop whole fresh or frozen raspberries and chopped fresh mint into 1/2 full orange juice filled popsicle molds! Fill any remaining space with more juice! :-)

6) Orange Fruit Pop

Directions:

Fill your popsicle molds with orange juice of your choice. You can also add chunks of cut up grapefruit and/or oranges if you want to turn this into a fruit bar! :-)

7) Strawberry Kiwi Fruit Bar

Directions:

Cut up fresh strawberry chunks and crush kiwis and drop into your popsicle molds with flavor infused or plain coconut water! For those of you who do not already know, coconut water is nature's version of gatorade! It is rich in electrolytes (sodium, potassium), glucose, and water without any added artificial coloring, preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup. It is my must-have for summer! Skinny pina coladas, anyone?!

Tips:

  • I encourage you to make a few recipes of your own!
  • You can use any natural 100% juice as your filler, such as Naked juice from your local grocery store's fresh juice section, Coconut water, Bolthouse Farms juice from your local grocery store,  or your own freshly squeezed juice with your cut up fruit of choice!
  • Have fun with this! :-)

Have a happy Thursday!
